24HourCoffeePeople is a bustling coffee shop on the outskirts of London: this blog shares moments where caffeine isn’t the main event but the people who visit or work there really are.
Now the holidays are over and everyone is back in their routines, I’d expect to see all the regulars; Guy & Lucinda, Mad Susan, Graham, Too-Tight Tracksuit Paulette and the strange lady who never speaks. Instead, I was met with Milo shivering outside the shop alerting on-comers to the fact that the boiler was being serviced and there would be no coffee for half an hour. Only cold drinks and muffins which isn’t exactly cheering at 7.45am in the snow. I went to Starbucks. It was quite nice, actually.
